John Cena v. Sean O'Haire...my buddy Adam, who is knowledgeable about
wrestling, watches on Monday and Thursday and spent time at many
independent shows, was like "I didn't know he was still around" Pretty
basic paint by numbers match. Cena wrestled in jean shorts and Reebok
pumps. I jokingly said when he took off his t-shirt, which was on sale at
the gimmick stand, all he would need to do is grab another one and he would
be ready to go out. Oddly enough, at Hooters, he was wearing jean shorts,
but a different shirt...Damn is was like 15 degrees out too...Cena wins
with the F U

(3) Sean O’Haire defeated Gary Schippriet.

Match Analysis: That’s right, it’s time for Keith Lipinski’s favorite moment of the week, the Sean O’Haire Squash~! Matthews: “You know, Bill, I’m not a betting man. . . well, I am, but that’s another story. . .but, I bet a million dollars that Sean O’Haire drops Gary Schippriet like third period French.” I love Matthews. Shipwreck actually gets a jawbreaker in. That doesn’t last, as O’Haire hits the Ridge Hand. O’Haire to the announcers: “That’s called a Ridge Hand, boys. Tell him, Bill!” O’Haire is so great. O’Haire hits The Move Formerly Known As The Widow Maker for the victory. Matthews: “I hope someone kept Gary Schippriet’s mom away from the television on this Saturday evening because her baby boy just got destroyed.”

Match Grade: B-. A ridiculous score for a squash, especially one involving Gary Shipwreck, but I’m not-so-subtly attempting to rig this show’s score to make it the best Velocity ever. O’Haire has greatness written all over him, although I’m starting to wonder if having this opinion is exclusively limited to people who review Velocity for a living. Such is life.

Sean O'Haire vs. Ultimo Dragon
Ultimo starts the match off by trying to knock Sean off of his feet with 2 back to back shoulder tackles, only to knock himself down. Ultimo tries one more time, and successfully does so with a leg sweep. He goes for a cover, but barely gets a 1 count. After Sean gets up, he is met with some kicks, but is able to hit Ultimo with a clothesline. Sean chokes Ultimo out in the corner with his foot, and rakes his eyes. Sean then picks Ultimo up, and practically throws Ultimo from one side
of the ring to the other with a slam. O'Haire continues to weaken Ultimo with a stiff kick to the back, and chokes him with his knee against the ropes. Sean goes for the cover, but gets a 2 count. Sean rubs his forearm against Ultimo's face, goes for the cover again, but gets another 2 count. Sean then traps Ultimo in a knee to the back submission hold. Ultimo refuses to quit, but is hit with some kicks to the ribs, and some chops. Sean whips Ultimo into the corner, but is met with 2 kicks to the face. Ultimo begins to get the advantage by hitting a leg scissors takedown, and some quick kicks to the chest and ribs. Ultimo gets only a 2 count on Sean. Ultimo hits a dragon screw takedown, rolls up Sean, gets a 2 count. Sean goes for a powerbomb, but Ultimo wiggles out of it and attempts a sunset flip. Sean picks Ultimo up, but is hit with a dropkick, and is sent to the outside. Ultimo hits a baseball slide, gets on the ring apron, and goes for the Asai moonsault. Sean moves out of the way, and Ultimo lands on the ground, hurting his knee. Ultimo is brought back in the ring, and is finished off when Sean hits the Widowmaker( reverse Death Valley Driver/Slam). 1,2,3 it's over.
Winner Via Pinfall: Sean O'Haire

RHYNO VS. SEAN O'HAIRE
Another match between two guys who play heels on TV (in fact, Rhyno was heel against Scotty 2 Hotty on Velocity tonight), but Rhyno was face in this one. Another match we could've lived without ended with O'Haire using his "in the web" or whatever the hell it's called to get the 1-2-3.

HANDICAP MATCH
John Cena vs Rhyno & Sean O'Hare
Heyman made this match a handicap because after Cena's great rap on Heyman, and for making the arena chant "Heyman is sh!t". VERY SHORT MATCH. 2 minutes tops. Cena pinned Rhyno with the F-U.
winner: John Cena by pinfall

Sean O'Haire and Horshu vs The World's Greatest Tag Team
O'Haire playing face? Pretty good tag match when O'Haire is in the ring, Horshu is a big guy but has 0 charisma. Haas and Benjamin were excellent as usual.
Winner: Haas and Benjamin with a superkick into a German Suplex.

Sean O’Haire beat Eric Young. O’Haire starts with an armbar, and then throws Young around. Young hits a jawbreaker and a dropkick. O’Haire kills him with a clothesline, and then a kick to the back. O’Haire tosses Young into the ropes and puts a knee across his neck, choking him. O’Haire locks in a bearhug. O’Haire hits an elbow and then his Widow maker for the win. Next!

Matt Cappotelli & John Hennigan vs. Sean O'Haire & Horshu

Decent reaction for Horshu and and SEAN(he deserves all caps, trust.). Matt and John got a surprisingly warm reaction, many remember the two from TE2....they were rocking some old school orange and black ripped up tights....which wasn't the strongest of fashion statements, but I'm no Rico. Matt played face in peril most of the match. Horshu was your usual HOSS~! while Sean was his usual smooth self, the crowd really into his high impact offense. John has star written all over him, busting out nice moves like that flip dropkick and a headscissors into reverse DDT. Horshu however, takes the win with a sideslam type move.
Winners: Sean O'Haire & Horshu

Ultimo Dragon & Jamie Noble vs. Sean O'Haire and A-Train

A-Train comes out throwing chairs as usual. A pretty good match considering the HAIR TRAIN was in it. Ultimo Dragon couldn't knock either superstar down. He was out of it for a while until he tags Jamie Noble. Noble cleans house but eventually got caught in the derailer. Sean O' Haire looked pretty impressive and had a few marks. After the match Ultimo Dragon and Jamie Noble get up and receive a nice round of applause.

Match Analysis: Tazz keeps calling Krueger "Freddy Krueger" and correctly indicates he might need a knife to come out on top of O'Haire, who is the shiznit. Well, he didn't say that last part, but it was implied. Krueger was last seen on Velocity getting the Thanksgiving dinner stuffing knocked out of him by Hair Train. O'Haire is giving him much of the same treatment, but in a much more entertaining, main event way. O'Haire hits a bodyslam with extra mustard. Tazz: "Shades of Ken Patera." This is the greatest show ever. O'Haire hits the fallaway slam into a Death Valley Driver for the victory.

Match Grade: C. I don't know what it is about Kevin Krueger, but I have seen him twice on this program, and each time he has gotten the crap kicked out of him. Maybe he's a prick or something, but in that case they wouldn't have brought him back. In any event, this was your typical squash, aside from the fact that it was just another stop on the O'Haire Express. Next stop: Main Event City~!

9/29/03 House Show Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

O'Haire and A-Train vs. APA:
A-Train reminds us yet again that this town sucks. There is action before the bell outside the ring, and note that the A-Train's right elbow is heavily taped. Bradshaw takes out the A-Train with a clothesline at the end while Faarooq delivers a spine buster to O'Haire for an APA victory. The APA appear to be in top form.

9/27/03 Velocity Courtesy of pwtorch.com

Crowbar vs. Sean O’Haire
The wrestlers exchange some grappling moves and counters in the early going. Both guys lay on a few woo chops and then Crowbar runs into a clothesline. O’Haire counters a suplex into an armbar faceplant and then starts bending Crowbar’s fingers. After a few more minutes of punching and arm twisting, O’Haire wins it with his finisher.

Winner by pinfall: Sean O’Haire

A-Train / O'Haire over Spanky and Paul London. I was NOT impressed at all with London and Spanky as a team, match was basicly a squash. These two can
do so much better.

9/14/03 House Show Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

A-Train and Sean O'Haire vs. Spanky and Paul London
Mostly consisted of the cruiserweights getting tossed around, whose offensive was mostly limited to dropkicks. Spanky and London had pretty good chemistry, and I wouldn't be surprised if they became a regular team. They connected with a Double Elimination (jumping calf kick and sweep) to speed things up. London looked impressive, hitting a full rotation front dropkick. He also reversed O'Haire's fireman's carry finishing set-up into an inverted DDT. Nevertheless, he fell victim to O'Haire's finisher (Widow Maker?) on the second try.
Winners: A-Train and Sean O'Haire

9/13/03 House Show Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

Albert & Sean O'Haire defeated Spanky & Paul London when O'Haire pinned London with the modified DVD after Spanky lept from the ring onto Albert on
the arena floor. The heels made London look quite good and the younger team came off looking like an updated version of the Young Stallions or Rockers
as they used their speed and arial abilities to keep their larger opponents off balance.

Sean O'Haire beat Orlando Jordan. Yay, this one should be good. /Sarcasm. We see a graphic hyping John Cena's t-shirt. Sweet shirt. O'Haire opens up with some shots to Orlando's back. Orlando hits a take down and an arm bar. O'Haire hits a headlock takeover. Tazz tells Josh to shut up. Thank you. O'Haire locks in a headlock, taking Jordan around the ring. Orlando hits two big arm drags and a big dropkick for a two count. O'Haire takes Orlando down again and hits an elbow drop. O'Haire locks in a Fujiwara arm bar, and drops his knee across Jordan's arm. O'Haire slaps Jordan around, and drops his arm across the mat. O'Haire locks in another arm bar. O'Haire hits a back sweep for a two count. Jordan nails some punches and then some dropkicks. Jordan nails a big back body drop. O'Haire hits a Canadian backbreaker into a shoulder breaker. O'Haire goes for a Canadian backbreaker, but Jordan slides to the apron, and drops O'Haire's neck across the ropes. Jordan goes for a top rope cross body but O'Haire rolls over for a two. Jordan hits a small package for a two. O'Haire gets up and nails the Prophecy for the win.

8/23/03 Velocity Courtesy of pwtorch.com

Sean O'Haire defeated Funaki.

Match Analysis: Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you your standard squash match. Matthews and Cat are great on commentary, still selling Lesnar as an out-of-control monster. O'Haire hits a big shoulder tackle with extra mustard. Funaki charges but gets caught with a big clothesline. Cat speculates that O'Haire just comes to the arena looking to beat up somebody. Works for me. O'Haire works the arm, and then lifts him up and hits a shoulder breaker. O'Haire goes back to the arm, also driving the knee into Funaki's throat. Funaki manages to get O'Haire reeling with a dropkick to the leg, but O'Haire eventually catches him and attempts the Widow Maker. Funaki counters into a reverse DDT for a two count. Funaki attempts a tornado DDT, but O'Haire counters into the Widow Maker for the three count.

Match Grade: C-. It was good for what it was, which was to put O'Haire over as a killer heel. Again, there is no reason O'Haire cannot be a future main eventer for WWE. He has the height, he has the physique, he's got cool tattoos, he's tall, and he has long hair. The fact that he is not very talented should have no bearing whatsoever on his future push. It hasn't prevented anyone else in the past from being pushed. O'Haire has "it."

Sean O'Haire vs Billy Gunn
Torrie Wilson was not present for this match...Billy won with the Fameasser

8/2/03 Velocity Courtesy of pwtorch.com

The Bashams Brothers & Sean O'Haire (w/ Shaniqua) beat The APA & Funaki. Match starts with Bradshaw booting down Danny Basham. Funaki tags in and Danny takes him out quickly. Funaki hits a dropkick and both men tag out. Ron Simmons quickly attacks Doug Basham, until Doug hits a Russian leg sweep. O'Haire tags in and lays boots to Simmons. Danny Basham tags in and takes Simmons into the corner. Bradshaw accidentally distracts the ref, while the Bashams double suplex Simmons. Simmons nails a big spinebuster. Funaki and O'Haire tag in. Funaki nails some punches. O'Haire goes for a gorilla press slam, but Funaki reverses it into a reverse DDT. The Bashams and the APA tag in and brawl to the outside. Funaki hits a bulldog for a two count. Funaki goes up top but O'Haire pulls him off with a mountain bomb for the win.

7/27/03 Vengeance Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

Bradshaw won the Barroom Brawl around 5:00. The winner was declared as the last man still drinking. The participants were Bradshaw, Ron Simmons, Brother Love, Kanyon, Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore, John & Matt (Tough Enough 3 Winners), Doink the Clown, Los Conquistadores, Brooklyn Brawler, Sean O'Haire, Funaki, and uh, the Easter Bunny. It was actually a pretty entertaining segment. Everyone drank and hit each other with various objects, stools, bottles, whatever. In the end, Bradshaw cracked a bottle over Brother Love's head for the win.

Rhyno defeated Sean O'Haire at 8:53 with The Gore.

7/17/03 Smackdown Courtesy of pwtorch.com

Rhyno vs. Sean O'Haire ended in a no contest. O'Haire opens up on Rhyno, throwing him right out of the ring. They brawl at ringside and O'Haire wraps the camera chord around Rhyno's neck. The APA comes out and invites O'Haire and Rhyno to the bar room brawl at Vengeance. All four men begin brawling. I was just going to say I haven't seen much of O'Haire since Piper was canned. I was hoping this match gave him an opportunity to show what he can do in the ring, but I guess I have to wait for a match longer than two minutes tonight.

7/16/03 House Show Courtesy of pwtorch.com

Billy Gunn pinned Sean O'Haire with the Famasser. Billy Gunn got a good reception and worked the crowd well, although this wasn't difficult to do. Gunn tried to get the crowd to sing along with the "Ass man" song which fell a little flat as most of the crowd speak about 5 words of English and ‘Ass' isn't one of them. Short, quite fun, one-sided, and exactly what you would expect.

7/12/03 Velocity Courtesy of pwtorch.com

Sean O'Hare beats Bobby Rude. The Cat actually brings up the fact that Josh Matthews had wrestled Bobby Rude before. When pressed to answer who won the match, Josh gleefully said, "Bobby Rude. I do not win very much." I guess if you lose so often you can still keep your head up loud and proud. The match begins with O'Hare going straight on offense and snapping Rude down to the mat and then slapping the back of his head for good measure. Rude gets to his feet and the immediately go to s collar and elbow with O'Hare taking rude down again but this time administering a headlock which Rude counters with a head-scissors. O'Hare flips out and runs in to a leg trip by Rude who returns the slaps to the head O'Hare gave him earlier. None to pleased, O'Hare goes for a kick to the head and misses but follows up with another that connects to Rude's back sending him to the floor.

O'Hare follows him to the floor and runs Rude's lower back in to the ring apron dropping him to the ground. Rude stands and O'Hare gives him another kick and pushes him in to the ring. Sean follows where Rude is waiting and begins firing back with punches. His valiant attempt is met with yet another stiff kick. O'Hare picks up Rude and body slams him hard to the mat then covers him for the obligatory two count. O'Hare growing frustrated picks up Rude and gives him a toss body slam. It was an impressive site since Rude went about half way across the ring. O'Hare goes for the cover for another two count. Instead of picking him up, Sean kicks him in the back again then applies a back headlock while wrenching Rudes neck back. Rude finally fights back and hits a standing Hunicanrana on a stunned O'Hare and follows with a DDT and cover for a two count.

Both men rise up and begin exchanging punches. Suddenly, O'Hare pulls out the final kick he will administer this match doubling over Bobby Rude. O'Hare quickly follows with a Death Valley Slam or as Josh Matthews put it, "The Widow Maker."

7/5/03 Velocity Courtesy of pwtorch.com

Sean O'Haire beat Smackdown's Former Number One Announcah, Funaki. O'Haire is quite possibly the coolest looking man on the face of Planet Earth. Matthews mentions O'Haire's music as being by Waterproof Blonde, while Funaki's music is "more or less kind of like Japanese, because Funaki is Japanese." Funaki hits a dropkick and an arm drag to send O'Haire reeling to the outside. He meets O'Haire returning to the ring with a dropkick and actually gets two out of it. O'Haire ends this cruiserweight madness with a round kick for two. O'Haire hits a body slam sending Funaki three-fourths of the way across the ring. I have to hand it to O'Haire. He's not very talented, but he does put some mustard on everything he does. Like he really cares about what does, and tries to make it look believable. Matthews references Harley Race, making it an insane amount of Race references on WWE TV lately. Funaki hits an enzuigiri and a bulldog for a two count. Cat talks about how Benoit possibly will be hooking up with Shaniqua because of the way the two looked at each other after the match on Smackdown. Matthews called Cat jealous, but the word he was looking for is "insane." O'Haire catches a Funaki crossbody attempt off the top rope, but Funaki turns it into a spinning DDT for two. O'Haire hits the former Prophecy, re-named the Widow Maker, for the victory. The Widow Maker, according to Matthews and his infinite wisdom, "makes widows."

3 TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH - CHRIS BENOIT & RHYNO VS THE BEST DAMN TAG TEAM EVER (SHELTON BENJAMIN AND CHARLIE HAAS) VS SEAN O'HAIRE & A-TRAIN

Benoit throws A-Train into cornerpost and snap-crackle-pooooof out go the lights for that half of the ring. Techs used spotlights and the remaining ring light to light the ring. Great match, Rhyno GORE on A-train followed by the Crossface and A-Train taps out to be the first team eliminated. This leaves Benoit/Rhyno and Benjamin/Haas. Nice actual wrestling by all involved. Flying headbutt off top rope is great to see in person. Typical ending as of late with Rhyno goring Benoit and Benoit getting pinned. Rhyno and Benoit argue in the ring for awhile with Rhyno finally walking away.

RESULT - BENJAMIN & HAAS DEF BENOIT & RHYNO

Triple Threat Tag Team Championship
Eddie Guerrero & Tajiri DEF. Sean O'Haire & A-Train & Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin

Very entertaining match. Eddie gets on the mic and asks Tajiri what team Angle still does. Tajiri in his Japanese accent said "You Still Suck!" crowd went nuts
and then Eddie asked him what he thought of O'Haire & A-Train. Tajiri then said "You Suck Too". Again the crowd bursted out laughing. O'Haire & Train were the
first ones eliminated by DQ. The ref got knocked out and Eddie brought in the belt and tossed it to Haas, while Eddie layed down on the floor looking knocked
out Haas passed it to A-Train and the belt was then passed to Benjamin who passed it to O'haire when the ref woke up he DQ'd them because it looked like he hit Eddie with the belt. Pretty funny game of Hot Potato. O'haire and A-Train were pissed and stayed in the ring and beat up on Eddie and Tajiri. Eddie received the
"Train Wreck", and Tajiri received the "Cruel Intentions" from O'haire. I know that's what he used to call his move, can't remember what it's called now.

6/25/03 Smackdown Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

Eddie Guerrero & Tajiri defeated Sean O'Haire & Roddy Piper to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles. O'Haire worked most of the match and dominated in some parts with a lot of power moves. Piper tagged in once and slapped Tajiri around a little bit. Late in the match, everyone was in the ring and as Guerrero took out O'Haire, Tajiri spit the mist in Piper's face, allowing Guerrero to hit the Frog Splash for the win.

6/23/03 House Show Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

The following match for the tag titles, first has A-Train coming out to heat, and just like on Velocity he is angry again by going back and forth from the ropes, throwing chairs into the ring, running into the steps. His tag partner, Sean O' Haire, comes out next to small heat. Eddie and Tajiri then come out together, to some great pops, but no car :-(. Small Shave Your Back chants to A-Train. Great match with O'Haire and A-Train getting in a lot of offense including the Train Wreck, or Derailer, or w/e the Baldo Bomb is now called. Match ends with Eddie knocking O'Haire to the outside and Tajiri then spitting the green mist into A-Train's face. Frog Splash by Eddie finishes and he and Tajiri retain the titles. Best match on the card so far.
Winners and STILL tag champs: Eddie and Tajiri

Post match: Eddie and Tajiri leave to good pops. A-Train and Sean O' Haire are in the ring but then leave to the back. Funny part is that A-Train wipes the green mist off on some guy who works there's shirt. I don't think it was planned. The worker was then handed a towel.

Sean O'Haire and A-Train vs. Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri for the TAG TEAM TITLES
Train and O'Haire were in control most of the match. Sean O'Haire was taken out by Tajiri's kicks and he rolled to the outside. Thus leaving A-Train to recieve the mist in the face, followed by the dreaded FROG SPLASH!!
Winners: Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri when Eddie pinned A-Train to retain the tag team titles

Sean O'Haire (with Roddy Piper) defeated Eddie Guerrero (with Tajiri). Tajiri and Guerrero rolled out in a Cadillac Escalde lowrider. Meanwhile, O'Haire walked out with a tequila toting Piper. O'Haire more or less dominated this match as Tajiri got a face-full of tequila from Piper. O'Haire hit his finisher, called the Prophecy, for the win. Afterwards, Piper dumped the rest of the tequila on Eddie.

5/29/03 Smackdown Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

Sean O’Haire (with Rotund Roddy Piper) vs. Chris Benoit. A lockup kicks things off, with O’Haire powering Benoit into the corner. He pounds away there, then walks into a dragon screw legwhip. Benoit brings the choppage, but O’Haire kicks him down for 2. He goes to the chinlock, then misses another big kick. Benoit DDTs him, leaving both men down. Benoit chops away some more and nails a release German for 2, then a neckbreaker for 2. Piper grabs his leg on a whip, so Benoit chases him around the ring, then back in. He knocks O’Haire down and gets Piper in the Crossface. O’Haire waylays Benoit with a huge kick to the back of the neck, and rolls him up with a handful of tights for the upset win at 4:19. The crowd is SILENT, in case you were wondering. Pretty pedestrian match, and one that wasn’t helped by the ending. I don’t see this doing a damn thing for O’Haire, really. *
(Winner: Sean O’Haire, pinfall via rollup at 4:19)

5/25/03 Smackdown Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

Sean O'Haire vs. Rhyno
O'Haire came out to small heat. Then Rhyno came out to a big pop. Rhyno got on the mic and said "Ft Myers likes Rhyno...? Well Rhyno likes Ft. Myers." He then talked about O'Haire aligning himself with Piper. Good match. O'Haire used kicks while Rhyno used brute force. Rhyno ducked a kick, O'Haire hit the corner and Rhyno then hit the Gore for the win.

Winner: Rhyno

Main Event: Mr. America (with Zach Gowen) vs. Sean O’Haire (with Rotund Roddy Piper). I’m just going to call Mr. America “Hogan” here to make things easier. A pair of lockups, and O’Haire overpowers Hogan each time. They lock it up again, with Hogan shoving O’Haire into the corner. He punches away and clotheslines O’Haire in the corner. Piper grabs his leg and gets dragged up to the apron, but O’Haire stops that by charging Hogan from behind. He slams him and kicks away, covering for 2. A running kick to Hogan’s face gets 2. O’Haire grabs a headlock, turning it into a head vice. Piper screams for the bell as the ref checks Hogan. The arm falls once, then twice, but does not fall thrice. Hogan elbows out, but gets kicked right back down. Hulk up, three rights, big boot, and the legdrop, brother, but Piper pulls Hogan off at 2. Vince comes out, with police, to arrest Zach Gowen for trespassing and assault. Yay, a lame police angle in the middle of a lame match. Hogan goes out to intervene and gets counted out at 7:06. So, a lame countout to end a lame match featuring a lame police angle. It’s not often you get the triumvirate of lame in one match, friends. Hogan walks up the ramp after Vince, but gets chaired down by Piper. DUD

Sean O'Haire vs Brian "Spanky" Kendrick
Sean O' Haire came out to mixed reactions from the crowd. This could easily
be considered a squash match. Sean never sold hardly any of Kendrick's moves
and Kendrick hardly had any offence in the match. During the match O'Haire
botched a nip-up ,to chants of "You F*cked up". Sean won the match.

5/8/03 House Show Courtesy of lordsofpain.net

*Note the person that wrote this spelled Sean's name Shawn.  I just changed it.

Sean O’Haire V Brian Kendrick, Sean look very cool when he came out and got a mix of cheers and hisses. Brian "Spanky" Kendrick got a huge cheer when he ran out. The crowd chanted spanky for the duration of the match. Brian did manage some offence but never looked like winning. He was pinned much to the audience’s disapproval (not mine) by Sean.
