Ugh!

Friends, so much has happened since last we met. Yet, we are no less confused and no happier than we were. Personally I am in an aggravated and confused state of mind. Let me explain why. I am sure you, my fellow Seanies, feel the same way and already know why. Just bare with me while I tell the tale.

Once upon a time there were weekly updates on events in Ohio Valley Wrestling. In those updates was news about matches, interviews, and run-in's as performed by one devilishly handsome prince, Sean O'Haire. And his fans were satisfied. Then Sean began to travel with World Wrestling Entertainment and performed in house shows. And his fans were filled with anticipation of the next step. Then one day it was reported that our precious Sean would be on Sunday Night Heat. And his fans were elated. He appeared in all his splendor filled with Ruthless Aggression and he beat down Justin Credible. Two weeks later he performed on Heat again in a very impressive match, in which he earned yet another victory. And his fans were so siked! They relished in his victory and chattered about his classical world god-like beauty and his new wrestling attire for nearly a week. And they eagerly awaited news of his next TV appearance as they had easily accepted and settled into an every other week visual. However, alas . . . now there is nothing. No known house show appearances, no television appearances (not even a glimpse when Sean Michaels was taken out), no OVW action. And his fans exclaim, 'WHAT THE #$@&!' (Pick your own word here. I was going for the softer word, but use the other one if you are that irritated.) And they are left unsatisfied and confused.

So here is what I am saying in order to appease myself. I know he was at the PPV. That is good. I know he was in a dark match when Velocity was taped. Good thing. I know he was in a dark match Monday night at the Raw live show in Greensboro, North Carolina. (Only 2 hours from me!) Another good thing. He is scheduled for one upcoming house show, so far. Still good news. He has not been one of the developmental talents who has been released in the past tow weeks. A good, but still a bit scary thing. Jim Ross has said little, but never anything negative about him. Only constructive criticisms with a positive twist. Pretty good thing. This along with PWI magazines article implies the attitude that eithers believe he has good potential and a promising future. A Very Good Thing.

So here is what we don't know and what I can't seem to smooth over in my mind.

Will he be a regular part of house shows? What will happen in OVW, especially with Bolin Services? Sean is the chief of security assigned to protect Prototype who is now on Smackdown as John Cena. Why do they keep tossing him back and forth between Smackdown and Raw groups? Why did they just throw him onto Heat twice? No re-introduction. Why would they put him on air twice if they don't think he is ready? Will he be working OVW and WWE?

UGH!!!!!!!

All of this does not decrease the fans firm belief in his ability or his imminent return. However, it does leave them confused and frustrated. We are confused because we see him and them we don't. We would just like to be a little better informed as to what is going on. We are frustrated because he has been dangled in front of us like bait on a hook and then quickly pulled from the water. Why do they tease us so!

As a random thought, I would be very interested in hearing what Eric Bischoff's thoughts are on Sir Sean.

My condolences to the Cornette family.

Let me leave you with these encouraging thoughts and hopes. Sean is still a player in the game. OVW should be back at 100% soon and they will be in a new facility. Perhaps then Kenny Bolin's promise of his appearance on Smackdown will become a reality. Maybe there will be more OVW?WWE interaction on TV. That would bring some excitement for sure.

Due to recent events in WWE: Eric Bischoff, the return of Stephanie, all the talent exchanges, etc., leads me to believe that there are some big things in store for wrestling entertainment fans. In spite of the current chaos I know that Sean O'Haire will be a major player in it, sooner or later. In the mean time, we will be patient and work through this confusion together.

O'HAIRE FANS UNITE!

Till next time,

Kitty
