BBMak will be headlining at this year's Sargent Cancer Care for Children 'Christmas Cracker' concert to be held at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 13 December, 7pm. HRH The Duchess of Gloucester, patron Cherie Booth QC, and Lady Helen Taylor and will be amongst the celebrity audience enjoying the festivities.

Joining BBMak and celebrity guests will be HIT Entertainment's loveable purple dinosaur Barney(tm), the Royal Academy of Music Junior Orchestra and compere, James Allen, ITV's lead commentator on Formula 1 motor racing.

James Allen said: "Sargent's Christmas Cracker is the charity's flagship fundraising event and promises to be one of the most vibrant, exciting concerts of the year. This year our fund raising target is £100,000, which will make a real difference to the lives of children with cancer. We want people to get into the festive spirit and bring their friends and family along to enjoy this fun-packed event."

Siún Cranny, Sargent's acting chief executive, said: "Every day another five children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK and Sargent aims to reach and support every one of them. The more support we have from high profile personalities and the public, the more money we can raise to help young people with cancer."

Over the last 2 years, Sargent's Christmas Cracker has raised £250,000 for children with cancer and their families. This year's generous "Christmas Cracker" sponsors include previous sponsors Morrison Construction and ICI.

Chris Lamb of TeenMusic.com chatted with Ste McNally of BBMak about the band's second album 'Into Your Head', which he and his bandmates are excited about. "It feels great," says Ste. "We’ve been in the studio for the last six months from January until the end of July finishing the album off. It was cool. We wanted to go into the studio and write some songs and record them.
